Tyson has severe spinal arthritis and three heart murmurs. We lost our older male Boxer (Riser) in 2007 to a brain tumor..he was only 9 years old and we lost Tyson's mom, Dixie, to cancer in Oct. 2010. She was 10.
How did you acquire your Boxer(s)?
We got Dixie from a breeder in KY at 7 weeks old and she had a litter of pups in 2003 when she was 3 years old. Tyson is one of her pups. Bodie (Bo Diddley) was adopted in Aug. 2008 from the Young-Williams Animal Center in Knoxville, TN. He had been a stray that was injured and had to have his left front leg and shoulder amputated when he was about 11 weeks old. We got him about 2 weeks after his surgery and he fit right in at our home.
